Maximize chiller efficiency and reduce electrical load fluctuations with Dometic’s innovative Variable Capacity Chiller. It also has the ability to modulate its speed in order to precisely match the demand. Other chillers use a basic all-on or all-off method for water-loop temperature control, continuously starting and stopping which greatly changes the load on the generator. By precisely balancing output to load, the swing in loop water temperature is minimized as well as swings in the demand for power from the generator. The thoughtful design of plumbing connections simplify installation and maintenance. Users can conveniently choose from three amp limits – Economy, Standard or Boost – further improving control and efficiency. An optional high-resolution color touchscreen provides a dynamic interface with improved system metrics and control. 

Dometic MCGX modular chillers use titanium condensers to greatly increase durability and product lifespan. Titanium is unaffected by the punishing combination of saltwater, invasive marine life, and the harsh acids used for routine cleaning of the condenser coil. Titanium extends service life and is unaffected by the corrosion and erosion of the harsh marine environment.
